Read books, not tracking notices. LitFever's website is designed without advertising pixels, third-party video players or visitor analytics scripts.
Scope and contact
This policy describes browsing LitFever and contacting us. The controller is:
Sergio Humberto Nevarez Garibaldi
Lange Zehntstr. 5
97421 Schweinfurt
Germany
For privacy enquiries, email hello@litfever.com or use the postal address above. German privacy information is also available.
Browsing, hosting and security
To deliver a page or video, a server receives connection information such as your IP address, request time, requested file, browser information and response status. Hosting logs may also contain a referring page. Technical processing supports delivery, troubleshooting and security; it is not the same as a visitor profiling service.
Our website hosting provider is Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. Hostinger processes technical data to provide hosting and security under its Data Processing Addendum. Its Privacy Policy and processing terms explain its provider and international-transfer arrangements.
Cookies, fonts and video
The website application does not set cookies or use local storage for identification. Book filters operate in the current page. Fonts, images and website video files are served locally by the site, rather than through embedded social players. Browsers can cache these files or buffer video as part of displaying them. See the Cookie Policy.
We do not offer website accounts, a checkout, a newsletter subscription form or public comments. Social profile links open separate services; those services apply their own privacy notices.
When you contact us
Email enquiries contain your address, message and any information you choose to include. We use them to respond, investigate corrections or rights requests, and retain a record where necessary. Avoid sending passwords, payment details or unnecessary sensitive information. Email delivery also involves the email providers handling the message.
Our public mailbox uses Titan Email through Hostinger. Messages and their delivery metadata are processed by the email service and the providers involved in delivery. Providing information is voluntary, but we need a reply address and enough detail to handle your enquiry. We do not add correspondents to a marketing list.
Affiliate links and external services
Retailer links are ordinary outgoing links. Following one sends a request to that retailer; it can receive your IP address, browser information and an affiliate identifier in the URL. Browser settings may also allow a referring page. Retailers can use their own attribution systems and cookies. Their privacy notices govern their processing.
LitFever does not receive your payment details or your retailer account credentials through these links. An affiliate programme may provide referral, order-category, commission or other reporting information. That reporting is distinct from installing tracking scripts on this website. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Purposes, retention and recipients
Technical operation and ordinary enquiries rely on legitimate interests in providing a secure site and responding to readers (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)); other bases apply where necessary, such as a legal obligation or a contractual enquiry. We retain information only as needed for its purpose, legal duties or claims. Hosting and email providers may process it to supply their services. Applicable provider arrangements determine any international transfers.
Your choices and rights
Under the GDPR, subject to its conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent where consent is the basis. You may complain to a supervisory authority, including where you live or work. Contact us using the address above; we may need proportionate verification of your identity. We do not use website visitor data for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
For a private-sector operator in Bavaria, the relevant supervisory authority is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA). You may also contact another competent supervisory authority.
Changes
New analytics, forms, embedded players or other data-using features require an updated notice and any necessary consent before activation. The date above identifies this version.
